Muted Volume
Ensure that your volume is not muted and check if any connected Bluetooth devices have an independent volume switch from the laptop
Audio Output Disabled
Check the windows troubleshooter before anything else. Press the windows key and search "find and fix problems with playing sound" run the troubleshooter to find the problem
Outdated Drivers
Update your drivers. Press the windows key and search "device manager" navigate to audio inputs and outputs, select your speakers, press driver at the top of the pop-up window and then press update drivers and then press "search automatically for drivers"
Default Audio Device
Double check that the audio settings are set to the right device. In order to go about this, you need to right click on the sound icon on the task bar. After that, choose "Open Sound Settings" and under "Output" select the device you want to play sound on.
