- Connect the charger to a functional outlet.
- Plug the charger into the USB-C port.
- Let the laptop charge for 10-15 minutes, and then press the power button to turn the laptop on.

Faulty Charger
Make sure you have the correct charger for your laptop. If your charger is of the correct type and still not working, check to see if it has any damage to the external structure.
If there are any wires showing, replace the charger.
Faulty Charger Ports
The charger port may be clogged or corroded.
- Check to see if anything may be clogging the port. Unclog it if necessary
- You can use compressed air to unclog the port
- CAUTION: Improper use may damage the port.
- Check to see if there is any corrosion. If there is, replace the port.
Software Error
If the Lenovo ThinkBook refuses to power on, it may be caused by programs on the computer preventing the laptop from powering up. A hard reset should reinitialize the core hardware components and fix the error.
To do this, you need to:
- Unplug the charger and any other devices that may be connected to the laptop.
- Shut down the device.
- Disconnect the battery from the motherboard.
- Press and hold the power button for 30 seconds.
- Reconnect the battery and plug the charger back in.
