The screen brightness is too low.
- Locate the buttons above the numbers 6 & 7 on your keyboard and increase the brightness until you see your screen.
- Try to connect to an external screen to see if the laptop was on, but the display was dead. If it is, you should check on “Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 3 Chromebook 14M868 Screen replacement".
Faulty power adapter
- No battery: charge the laptop and wait a few minutes
- Dirty charging port: Use a toothpick carefully, remove the dirt, and replug the charger.
- Faulty Charger or Power Cable: test with another compatible charger: USB type C cable
Temporary glitch
- Hard reset: A temporary glitch can cause a black screen. Turn off the Laptop > Press both the Refresh and Power buttons for 10 seconds > Release both and check if the display is on.
