Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 3 Chromebook 14M868 Keyboard Not Working

When you press the keyboard keys, if it doesn't work and/or nothing appears when you type, follow this troubleshooting guide for possible solutions.

• Restart your laptop: A quick, simple restart may fix the issue.

• Check for Chromebook Updates: Settings > About ChromeOS > Check for updates.
• Update or reinstall the Keyboard Driver: Powerwash (Factory Reset) if keyboard issues persist.

• Deep clean the keyboard: Dust and fiber may cause the keys to be stuck or stop responding. Use compressed air to blow out the dust and isopropyl alcohol and a Q-tip to clean the keyboard.

• If some keys don’t work and the rest are normal or if you've spilled a liquid and it doesn't work even after you've dried it out, the upper case with keyboard will need to be replaced.
