Volume is Too Low
Audio (Turn volume up).
Audio Driver Out of Date
Making sure it's up to date, also, uninstalling and reinstalling it. Alternatively, use the generic audio driver that comes with Windows.
Sound Settings Need Adjustment
Check sound settings including volume mixer, advance sound features, and other audio enhancement settings.
- Right-click the sound icon in the taskbar > Open Sound settings.
Windows Troubleshoot
Run the Windows Troubleshooter for sound problems.
Default Sound Format
Change the default sound format by right clicking the sound icon in the taskbar and "Open Sound Settings" select Device properties, then "Additional device properties", and finally the "Advanced tab".
Test Audio
Make sure the application you're using has permission to use your microphone.
Disable Audio Enhancements
If other methods don't work than you can try disabling audio enhancements.
