Lenovo 14e Chromebook Keyboard Unresponsive or Slow

Lenovo 14e Chromebook keys are unresponsive when typing, lagging behind, or not responding to direct inputs.

Settings such as "Sticky Keys" or "Filter Keys" may be to blame. Navigate to settings, and search for these functions and turn them off.
Reset your laptop and observe whether the problem remains.

Ensure that your device is on the latest software update, restart your Chromebook.
Test in guest mode: Log into your Chromebook as a guest to determine whether the problem has to do with individual account keyboard settings.
May require a hard reset, resetting the Chromebook hardware, including the keyboard and touchpad settings.
If the Chromebook drivers are out of date, open "Device Manager" from the start menu. Navigate to the keyboard section and expand, and select "Uninstall" under each device. Upon restarting, these drivers will automatically be reinstalled at their latest version.

Ensure that your keyboard is properly cleaned, and that any debris that may be obstructing the keyboard has been removed. This can be done using compressed air to remove any debris from the keys.
Removing the keys may be necessary in order to clean under all the keys.
