If your Kodak PIXPRO WPZ2 doesn’t power on and is unresponsive when you press the power button, this troubleshooting page has some potential solutions.

Needs a Reset

This drains residual power from the camera's circuits, similar to a hard reboot on a computer.

  1. Remove the battery from the compartment.
    1. Press and hold the Power Button for 30 seconds.
      1. Reinsert the battery.
        1. Attempt to turn the camera on.

Faulty Battery

The most frequent reason a camera won't turn on is a dead battery or a charging issue. The WPZ2 uses an internal rechargeable Li-Ion battery.

1. Connect the camera to the power charger using the supplied USB cable.

2. Insert the plug of the power charger into the wall outlet to charge the battery.

Damaged or Faulty Charger

If the light doesn't turn on, try a different compatible USB cable and adapter to ensure the cable or original adapter isn't faulty. Inspect the camera's USB charging port for any debris or damage.
