Is your Keurig K-Duo brewing coffee into the pot, but not a full pot? Use this troubleshooting guide to help diagnose why.
Clogged Needle
Coffee grounds can build up in the tiny needle that punctures the K-cup, restricting water flow. The needle may need to be cleaned.
Unclog the needle. Remove the K-cup holder and carefully clean the needle with a small pin or toothpick, rinsing thoroughly with warm water.
Dirty Filter Basket
Residue from previous brews can accumulate in the filter basket, preventing optimal water flow. The filter basket may need to be washed.
Remove the filter basket and wash it with warm, soapy water, making sure to clean any crevices.
Scale Buildup
Over time, mineral deposits can build up inside the machine, hindering brewing performance.
Descale the machine. Follow the instructions in your Keurig manual to descale your machine with a descaling solution.
Improper K-cup Insertion
If the K-cup isn't properly seated, it might not be punctured correctly.
Check K-cup placement. Ensure the K-cup is fully inserted and properly aligned in the holder.
K-cup Issues
A damaged or poorly filled K-cup can also cause brewing problems.
Try a new K-cup. Use a fresh K-cup to see if the issue is related to the cup itself.
