If one or both of the joysticks on your IFYOO ZD-V108 controller detect unintended inputs not from the user, use this troubleshooting guide.
The Driver Isn't Installed
Sometimes, the system can’t identify the controller without a driver. The manual contains a link to the official driver.
- Go to the website link to install the driver at https://gamepad-driver.ifyoo.net/
- Press the support tab.
- Scroll down until you see “Windows 10 / 8 / 7 / XP Driver and Testing Software of Gaming Controller” and click the download button based on your system.
If your system can’t recognize the device, try the Microsoft Xbox360 Controller driver.
The Joystick has Surface Area Dirt /Dust
The joystick could have some surface area dirt. You will have to use external tools to clean it.
- Grab a cotton swab and rubbing alcohol.
- Pour small amounts of rubbing alcohol on the tip of the cotton swab.
- Press the joystick in the direction the unintended drift is coming from.
- Put the cotton swab on the opposite side of the direction of the drift and rub it against the perimeter under the joystick of the controller
Do this with the device unplugged before plugging it back in and continuing use.
The Joystick has Hard Embedded Dirt/Dust
Hard embedded dirt/dust clumps are in the side or even under the seams of the joystick. The joystick could have some of these.
- Grab a bottle of compressed air with its straw.
- Press the joystick in the direction it has the drift.
- Put the straw on the opposite side of the drift direction.
- Put the skinny end of the compressed air straw into the gaps of the joystick.
- Then press the trigger to clear any embedded dust in IFYOO ZD-V108’s joystick.
Unplug the device while doing this step and it’s recommended you tried the previous one first.
