Audio is Distorted

Loose Speaker Jack
Play audio only using computer speakers, then try plugging in additional speakers. If the audio is only distorted when listening through external speakers, the audio jack or the speakers themselves may be defective. Audio that goes in and out may be due to a loose audio jack. Be sure the audio jack is completely plugged in to the computer.
Faulty Driver
If the audio is distorted when listening through the laptop’s speakers, the audio may be corrupt. Right-Click on start button> click device manager> expand sound video and game controllers>then select the sound drivers and right-click on it and uninstall the audio drivers. Then check the box delete the software for this device. Now check if the situation has been corrected. Wifi Driver Not Updated
Try updating the WiFi driver from Device Manager
- Select the Start button, type Device Manager, and select it from the list of results.
- Look for Network Adapters and expand the List
- Look for WiFi driver then right-click it, and select Update Driver.
- Select Search automatically for updated driver software.
- If these steps don't work, try reinstalling the driver: Open Device Manager, right-click the WiFi driver and select Uninstall. Restart your PC and Windows will attempt to reinstall the driver.
System Not Restored
The system may need to be restored.
- Select the Start button, type control panel and then choose it from the list of results.
- Search Control Panel for Recovery.
- Select Recovery > Open System Restore > Next.
- Choose the restore point related to the problematic app, driver, or update, and then select Next > Finish.
Trackpad Issues

Trackpad Unresponsive
When the trackpad becomes unresponsive the fastest way to fix this is to use an external mouse. You will have to uninstall and reinstall the drivers for your mouse so it will correctly pair with the laptop.

- 3. Click + sign next to Mouse.
- 4. Right-click on mouse entry and choose "uninstall".
- 5. Restart your computer.

Software Update
This could be just a software issue in which you will need to update the BIOS and the drivers. Find the BIOS version on your laptop’s motherboard and check if there are any updates available. Follow the steps given to you on the update. Don’t forget to update the previous version of BIOS before updating the new one.

Hard Drive Error
There may be an error in your hard drive if the data cable is damaged or the connection is incorrect. To resolve this issue, start or restart the computer. Press F2 repeatedly during the start up to enter the HP PC Hardware Diagnostics utility. Select Component tests> Hard Drive> Quick test. Select Drive C and click run once. Once the test is complete the results will be displayed on the screen. If your computer does not boot correctly you may need to replace the hard drive.
Not Enough Ram
Your device may have bad ram or may not have enough. You should try installing ram on your device.
