HP ProBook x360 11 G3 EE Display not Turning On
The HP ProBook x360 11 G3 EE display does not light up after turning on. The issue may be a dead battery, a faulty display, or motherboard.
Dead Battery
Once pressing the power button, see if any lights or fan turn on, or any other sign of the laptop having a charge. If not, you may have a dead battery and will need to charge it.
Loose Display Cord
Once you have confirmed that your laptop has a charge, listen closely for any starting sounds or look closely at the screen to see if the laptop has a very dark image. If this is the case, the connector for the display may be loose inside the computer. You will need to disassemble the laptop enough so that you have access to the motherboard so that you can verify.
Faulty Display
Once you have confirmed that your laptop display connector is properly connected, look closely at the screen to see if the laptop has a very dark image. If this is the case, your display may be faulty, and you will need to open the laptop up and replace it.
Faulty Motherboard
If nothing else works, you may have a faulty motherboard and it will need to be replaced.
