HP ProBook x360 11 G3 EE Charging Port not Working
HP ProBook x360 11 G3 EE does not charge when plugged in. The laptop could have a dirty or faulty charging port, or the battery could have failed.
Dirty Charging Port
Dirt and debris may have built up inside the charging port, causing the connectors to not make contact. You can use a toothpick or compressed air to clear the charging port of debris.
Faulty Charging Port
If cleaning did not work, you may have a faulty charging port. Use a flashlight to inspect the port and see if any pins are damaged or bent. Wiggle the charging cable to see if it would charge in different positions. If it only charges in a specific position, you need to replace the port.
You can view our guide on replacing the charging port for the HP ProBook x360 11 G3 EE here.
Failed Battery
If your laptop will only power on while plugged in, it is very likely that you have a failed battery, and need to disassemble your laptop and replace it with a new one.
