HP Omen 15-5002xx Troubleshooting

The laptop seems to not turn on nor run at all.

• Check whether it is a CPU or Battery problem
• If there is no signal running through anything then it is recommended to replace the motherboard as a whole

The Laptop seems to overheat over just simply having the computer on after a few minutes.

• cleaning the fan from any dust or lint can improve the fan
  • make sure to use the correct tool to clean the fan like the compressed air can
• If it is not spinning at all then it is time for a replacement

Wi-Fi disconnection keeps occurring and sometime issues with connecting to Wi-Fi initially.

• Restart your Wi-Fi system
• Restart your computer
• If the top 2 don’t work, it is recommended to replace the Wi-Fi card with a new one
  • Compatible Wi-Fi Card

Keyboard/Keys not responding. When I type multiple keys, it will not respond.

• Restart the computer
• clean all keys with a compressed air can and/or wipes
• If issue is not resolved then we the keyboard or specific keys needs to be replaced

The computer needs to be constantly plugged into the charger or else it will shut down in a few minutes

• Check if the charger is fully plugged into the outlet
• Check if the charging cable is still in perfect condition
• If it’s the computer battery, then a replacement is recommended.
