Device turns on, does not boot up
Device does not start windows just displays black screen.
Not enough RAM
The lack of available space in RAM storage could cause the device to malfunction on startup. Restarting the can help the device to free up storage and ensure that multiple apps aren't running.
Hard Drive Failed

Device shows an alert after startup stating saying battery health is low.
Battery is faulty

Battery isn't lasting long

Device is on but screen is black
Device's screen does not respond to input; display remains black after powering on.
Screen is cracked or LCD broken
One of the ways you can help troubleshoot a screen issue is by connecting another device to your device with an HDMI to see if it is your devices screen or another issue. You can see how to replace your screen here, Screen Replacement.
Drivers need to be updated for screen
One reason your screen may be black when your device is on, is that when connecting to an external monitor windows may not be detecting it. A quick shortcut to update your driver and refresh the connection to screen is to press "Windows key + Ctrl + Shift + B".
"Storage Low" pop up when trying to download
Device states storage is low.
Too many files on device
Check the amount of free space on the hard drive, unwanted or forgotten about files are an easy way to use up storage space you don't intend to be using. CPU Overheating Alert
Device shutdowns abruptly and/or displays CPU Overheat alert.
Fan vents are covered
Computers are prone to overheating from an excess build up of dust or other materials that get stuck in the vents or fan. The easiest way to fix this is to use a compressed air duster to carefully clear the debris from the vents or fan.
BIOS not up-to-date
If you are getting a CPU Overheat alert during boot up you may need to update your BIOS. This can be achieved by downloading the latest firmware for your processor onto a flash drive and then updating the driver by entering the boot menu on startup by pressing FN + F8. After entering BIOS install the newly downloaded driver.
Improper amount of thermal paste
Have the improper amount of thermal paste on your CPU/CPU Fan may cause the device to overheat. You can fix this by completely cleaning off any thermal paste, placing a bead of new thermal paste directly in the middle of the CPU and then placing the CPU fan back onto the CPU and locking it down.
