If your watch battery drains quickly even after charging it fully, follow the troubleshooting tips below to resolve the issue.

Consistently high brightness levels on both watches and phones can drain the battery faster due to the increased power required to maintain brightness.

• Lower the screen brightness to an appropriate level.
• Access the settings menu on your watch.
• Navigate to "Display".
• Adjust the brightness slider down.

Go to your watch's Settings → Display → Toggle off Always-On Screen.

If you haven't adjusted the frequency of the notifications you receive from apps, customize the notification frequency to reduce notifications.

• In the app, tap on your watch.
• Select the gear icon.
• Tap notifications.
• Choose the notifications you want to customize and set your preferences.

If your watch system is out of date, your battery may drain faster than usual. Note that you may have additional battery drain for a few days after a major update, but it should go back to normal after a few days. Check for updates in two places:

• System update: On your watch, go to Settings → System → System updates
• Watch app updates: On your watch, go to Play Store → Scroll down to the bottom of the page → Select Manage Apps → Select Update All if there are updates.
