Are your Epomaker Shadow-X keys not responding to input? Use this troubleshooting guide to help diagnose why.
Outdated drivers
Outdated drivers or software can cause the keys on the keyboard to stop responding.
* Simply verify the correct software pertaining to the keyboard is downloaded and up to date.
- You can check for updates through the manufacturer's website or via your operating system's device manager.
Software glitches
Glitches may be affecting your keyboard causing the keys not to respond.
- Simply restarting your keyboard and computer can resolve temporary glitches.
- Disconnect the keyboard, wait a few moments, then reconnect it to clear any temporary issues.
Dust or debris preventing key actuation
Dust or debris could be accumulating within the device and affecting the keyboard. Built up dust below the keycaps can prevent the keys from responding.
- Gently clean using compressed air or a soft brush.
Switch replacement
If all other troubleshooting options fail, it is likely the keyboard switches themselves are damages and need replacement. Please refer to the replacement guide(s) below:
- Replace the switches
Keyboard not connected
The keyboard itself may not be connected via USBC, or bluetooth, preventing the keys from providing an output upon actuation.
- Verify the keyboard is plugged in/and or connected via bluetooth
