Tablet Will Not Power On
The tablet will not respond or show any sign of powering on.
Drained / Faulty Battery
If your FunTab will not hold a charge or is completely dead (especially if it has not been used recently), you may have a drained battery. Charge your FunTab by plugging it into your computer or AC adapter and wait for a response from your device. Your FunTab should recognize it has been connected to a power source and begin to charge its battery. The charging light should be on. If it will no longer charge, the battery may need to be replaced
Faulty Display
If your FunTab is not displaying an image, your display may be broken. If the battery is working properly and is chargeable, but nothing is showing visibly, it is possible that the display is bad and must be replaced.
Applications Will Not Open / Will Not Run
The tablet charges, but the applications are not running.
Dead / Faulty Motherboard
If the display and battery are working, check all the connections from the display to the motherboard. This requires opening the FunTab with a prying tool and manually checking all wires are connected. If no wires are detached between the display and the motherboard and it is still not functioning, the motherboard may need to be replaced
Tablet Will Not Charge
The tablet will not show any sign of charging.
Faulty Outlet
If your FunTab says it needs to be charged even when plugged in, try using a different outlet. It is possible that the outlet is not functioning.
Faulty Charger
If your FunTab says it needs to be charged even when plugged in, your charger may be broken. It is possible that the wire is faulty and must be replaced. Use a different charger or charging wire to charge your device.
Faulty Port
If your FunTab says it needs to be charged even when plugged in, your charging port may be broken. It is possible that the port is faulty and must be replaced.
Tablet Will Not Connect to WiFi
The tablet will not run applications because it is not connected to WiFi.
Wireless Router Malfunction
If your FunTab will not connect to WiFi, check your wireless connection. First, check to see if another device connected to the same network is connecting to the WiFi. If the other device is connected, check your wireless network signal strength icon in the notification bar to verify your router connection. If this does not solve the problem, continue to "Weak WiFi Signal."
Weak WiFi Signal
If your FunTab claims to be connected to WiFi, but is not working, check the signal strength of the wireless connection. The performance of a wireless network connection depends (in part) on signal strength. You must connect to the wireless network where the signal strength is strong. Check your wireless network signal strength icon in the notification bar to verify your current signal strength. Move closer to the router to increase signal strength.
Speaker Does Not Emit Sound
An application requires sound, but the tablet will not emit sound.
Dirty Speaker
If the FunTab's speaker is not working, try cleaning it out with a cotton swab. Carefully remove the back of the FunTab with a prying tool. Gently apply a rubbing motion to the speaker to remove dirt. Replace the back of the speaker and run the sound again.
Faulty Speaker
If the FunTab's speaker continues not to function after cleaning and volume adjustment, it requires replacement.
