LCD display is not working

Screen appears to be shattered under the plastic casing of the device.

Dead pixels

If there are dark spots/rows on the screen while everything else is running fine, this could be a sign that there are dead pixels on your screen.

The plastic covering/LCD screen cracked

There is a plastic case covering the LCD. By pressing down on the shattered part of the screen and feeling it to see if the LCD is cracked or just the plastic case (If you can feel the cracked part of the screen then it is just the plastic covering and not the LCD.

LCD cable unplugged

The cable connecting the LCD display could have been unplugged from the motherboard. This is a simple check as this is the only cable coming from the LCD display.

Faulty wiring

If when the application for the camera is opened, there is no image displayed at all, the wiring could be faulty.

Faulty motherboard

If when the application for the camera is opened, there is no image displayed at all, there could be an issue with the motherboard.

Camera application does not display an image or the image is blurry

When the camera application is opened, no image is displayed, or a black screen is displayed. When the camera application is opened the image is blurry.

Lens is cracked

If the displayed image is not distinguishable, the lens could be cracked.

Faulty wiring

If when the application for the camera is opened, there is no image displayed at all, the wiring could be faulty.

Faulty motherboard

If when the application for the camera is opened, there is no image displayed at all, there could be an issue with the motherboard.

Damaged camera components

If the image is indistinguishable or there is no image at all, and all other potential issues have been ruled out; the issue could be inside the camera itself.

Power Button is Broken or Out of Place

When the power button is pressed, nothing happens to the device. The device may turn on/off randomly without the user pressing the power button.

Button may be out of place

The power button could be out of its intended placement.

Connection between power button and motherboard may be corrupted

The power button is supposed to be in direct connection to the motherboard of the device. This could indicate that the button is no longer in contact with the motherboard and will require rearrangement. This may also indicate that there is an issue with the motherboard.

Device will not turn on

The device may not turn on, or does not hold a charge, and may need to be constantly connected to charger in order to work.

Battery may not be connected

If the device does not turn on even when plugged into its charger, the battery may be disconnected through faulty wiring in the device.

Battery could be burned out

If the device turns on while plugged into the charger but turns off once disconnected, or holds a minimal charge that doesn't last as long as it should, the battery may be over used and would need to be replaced.

Case has damaged parts

Damaged Grips

If the side grips have cracks or have fallen out you may want to replace them so protect the inside of the device.

Damaged front or back casing

If part of the front or back plastic casing has broken off or cracked and reveals the inside of the device.
