Keyboard and ComWheel are not working
Keyboard and ComWheel cables are not connected to the CPU
If the keyboard and the ComWheel cables are not connected to the CPU board, then detach the monitor’s rear cover and check the cable connections to the CPU.
Faulty CPU
Replace the CPU if the cable connections are OK.
Keyboard is not working but the ComWheel works
Keyboard cable is not properly connected to the CPU board
If this is the case then detach the rear of the monitor and check the keyboard cable connections.
Faulty key or defective CPU board
Enter service mode and do Dummy Press keyboard test. Replace the keyboard if only a single key does not respond. Replace the CPU if more than one or two keys do not respond.

Possible cause: no heart rate available
If no ECG waveform, check LEADS OFF message and connect the leads. If ECG waveform exists, check the heart rate source (for example, in the ECG Setup menu behind ECG key).
ECG issues
Unacceptable ECG waveform
Poor electrode or skin contact could be from electrodes being from different manufacturers are used/Too much/little gel is used. If there is poor electrode condition, then the electrodes most likely dried out. Check that electrodes are not placed over bones, active muscles, or layers of fat. Remove body hair and clean the attachment site carefully with alcohol to avoid improper skin preparation techniques. Finally, check the bandwidth filter.
No ECG trace
If the waveform is not selected on the screen, adjust the monitor setup, the go to screen setup, and click on waveform fields. The module could also be plugged in incorrectly, so check the plug in as well.
Impedance respiration
No resp. trace
Adjust the monitor setup under waveform fields if the waveform is not selected on the screen. Unacceptable resp. waveform could be from the same improper preparation or electrodes as the ECG issues above. Follow the same steps to maintain a consistent waveform.
Pulse oximetry standard
Finger probe falls off
SPO2 sensor could be slippery, so check/follow the instructions for the sensor. Wipe with 70% isopropyl alcohol and allow to dry. Finger could be too thin or thick, so try another finger if this is the case.
Weak signal artifacts
Possible cause could be poor perfusion, movement artifacts, and/or shivering, so try another site of contact.
