Grinds too slowly
The coffee bean grinder grinds slowly while active.
Clogged grounds:
Coffee grounds can clog any part of the grinder causing it to malfunction. Disassemble the grinder and clean it thoroughly with a wash cloth or sponge.
Burning of the thermal limiter:
Burning on the thermal limiter can prevent the motor shaft from rotating properly, To resolve this issue you must replace the thermal limiter.
Does not grind while turned on:
The coffee grinder appears to be functional however, when powered on, the grinder does not respond.
Not plugged in properly:
- The grinder may not be receiving enough power to operate. Make sure the electrical cord is fully plugged into a sufficient power source.
- Check the electrical cord for any damage. If it is damaged you will need to replace it.
Dirty shaft:
The shaft of the grinder may be too clogged or dirty to operate. Disassemble the device and clean the shaft. When finished reassemble.
Grinds too coarse:
The coffee grinder grinds the coffee beans too coarse for use.
Faulty blades:
The blades of the coffee grinder may be too dull or faulty to properly function. If so, they will need to be replaces.
Malfunctioning Motor:
If the coffee grinds are too coarse then, the motor may be malfunctioning. Disassemble the grinder and clean it thoroughly. If that fails to resolve the issue the motor will need to be replaced.
On/Off switch not working:
The coffee grinder will not respond to the on/off switch
Broken on/off switch:
If the grinder doesn’t respond to the on/off switch, the switch itself may be broken. If so you must replace it.
Stuck Switch:
The on/off switch may be stuck and therefore unable to operate. Use a utensil to depress the switch until it is functioning properly.
Coffee grinder vibrates:
The coffee grinder vibrates in an unsafe way while active
Frozen Motor:
If the motor is frozen or struggling to rotate it will cause vibrations in the grinder. Disassemble and clean the motor of any debris. If the issue persist the motor will need to be replaced.
Malfunctioning blades:
If the blades are incorrectly placed in the grinder or covered in coffee grounds it will cause heavy vibration. Clean the blades of debris to return to normal function. If the issue persists the blades may need to be replaced.
