Blackberry Priv Overheating

Running intensive apps like games can cause your Blackberry Priv to overheat due to increased workload on the device. To prevent this, limit the use of demanding applications and regularly close background apps. This helps reduce strain on the device and keeps temperatures lower for better performance.

When the brightness level on a phone is set too high, it can contribute to overheating. A higher brightness setting requires more power from the phone's display, which is one of the most energy-demanding components. Lowering the brightness level can help reduce the chances of your phone overheating. To lower the brightness, go to settings then go to Display and reduce the brightness under Brightness level. 

Overheating can happen due to software issues such as faulty apps or background processes using too much power. A factory reset clears all data and returns the phone to its original settings, which can solve these issues. Before proceeding, back up any valuable data from your phone to another device. After doing this, go to Settings then go to Backup & reset. Then, go to Factory data press Reset phone.
