In some cases, the buttons on the side of the headphones may be giving delayed inputs or just not registering being pressed at all. This could be for a variety of reasons that should be covered in this troubleshooting guide.

First Steps

Some of these quick processes may fix the problem without further steps.

Factory Reset: To perform a factory reset on the headphones, follow the steps below.

  1. Turn the headphones on.
  2. Hold both the volume up and down buttons simultaneously for around 6 seconds. Once this is completed, the indicator light should flash white.
  3. Hold the power and volume up buttons for about 6 seconds as well.

Once these steps have been completed, the indicator light should turn pink, signifying a successful factory reset.


Debris Buildup on Buttons

Sometimes a good cleaning is all that a device needs to return back to working

condition. Debris from repeated use might be blocking the buttons from fully registering

when it is being pressed. Follow these simple steps to clean them out.

  • What You Will Need
    • Rubbing Alcohol
    • Q-tip
    • Toothbrush
    • Toothpick
    • Microfiber Cloth
    • Tweezers

1. Lightly dampen the toothbrush, toothpick, or Q-tip with alcohol

  • Don’t spray directly onto the device

2. Work Around the Button Edges

3. Stubborn Debris

  • Use tweezers to carefully pull out larger debris without damaging the buttons

4. Wipe it Down

  • Gently use the microfiber cloth to wipe around the buttons to ensure all blockage is cleaned off

Trouble with Connection

Buttons may malfunction due to a connection error (not paired/out of range)

1. Check Connection

  • Connect to another device to determine whether the problem is with the headphones specifically

2. Check App settings/controls

Low Battery

A charge that is insufficient can cause unresponsiveness

1. Check Charge

  • If has low battery charge, plug in and let the device charge for the recommended time.

2. Check buttons

  • Once the battery is completely charged check the response of the buttons.
