No matter what you do, you can't get your tablet to turn on.

Ideally your tablet will recognize it has been connected to a power source and charge its battery. If it will no longer charge, the battery is dead and must be replaced.

Setting screen brightness to max setting will drain energy from the device. Set your device as well to have its screen go off after 2 minutes of non-use.

Network applications running in the background will remain active and drain the battery even when not in use. If you are not using the WiFi, shut it off.
