Brief freezes or issues when starting up device Tablet freezes upon startup

The tablet will freeze upon startup or will not turn on at all. This issue can be fixed by doing a force reset by holding down the power button for around forty seconds and pressing the power button again which will clear out any glitches that may be causing the issue.

The problem may be caused by an empty battery leave it to charge until the light turns green indicating it is full before turning it on. if you suspect that the battery isn't working try to use a different charger or replacing the battery.

The battery will simply refuse to charge or charge slowly.

Try using a different charger to make sure the cable and charger are not broken if it is still not working plug it in into a different outlet.

If the charging light is not appearing then try to push the cable or move it gently this is due to loose charging ports.

There have been reported issues with the audio not working as it does not reach the speakers or headphones.

This could potentially be due to the tablet case or headphone jack. If the speakers are not working try putting on headphones. If headphones don't work try to move the headphone jack a little.

Sometimes a tablet case may obscure the speakers if you suspect this remove the case.

Push on the volume up button on the side of the tablet or go to settings and then sound to control the volume.

If you purchased the device and didn't cause the damage you can claim insurance and if it is under warranty you can contact amazon to get it fixed.

Wifi symbol wont appear and web based applications don't load.

The tablet refusing to connect to wifi may be a simple bug that can be fixed by doing a soft reset on the tablet.

It may be an issue with the router or a hardware issue in which case you should contact Amazon.
