Does your Acer Chromebook CB315-4H-P8FZ have low display resolution? Use this troubleshooting guide to help diagnose why.
Incorrect Display Scaling
• Click the clock icon found at the bottom right of your screen.
• Click on the gear icon which will bring you to settings.
• You then scroll down to the Device section- displays.
• You will see a section called “Internal Display” with a slider next to it called Display Size. You then click keep changes.
• With this slider, you can change the size of the screen of your Chromebook.
Incorrect Display Resolution
• Click the clock icon found at the bottom right of the screen. • Click the gear icon, bringing you to settings
• Scroll to Device and click Display Settings
• Go to the resolution drop down and select your desired resolution.
• Then press keep changes
Screen Magnifier Needs to be Turned Off
• Click the icon fond at the bottom right of the screen
• Click accessibility
• Scroll to full screen magnifier and click on it
• You can also use CTRL + Search + M keyboard shortcut
Default Appearance Needs Adjustment
• You may have an issue with Chrome instead of Display settings.
• Open Chrome and click the three dots at the top
• Select settings then go to appearance and choose recommended. This will be in the drop-down box next to font size.
• You can then adjust the level of zoom in the page zoom drop down box.
