No Wi-Fi Connection
Your device does not connect to a WI-FI network.
Airplane Mode is on
Airplane mode is made to turn off your tablet's wireless signals to not interfere with an airplane pilot's radio communication, but if you accidentally leave it on you won't be able to connect to a network. Go into your device's settings and see if your device's airplane mode is on. If so, turn it off and connect to the internet.
Wi-Fi is Off Under Settings
Many devices have the option to disable their Wi-Fi antenna. If you want to utilize a Wi-Fi network, you'll need to make sure it's enabled. First go to your settings and make sure your devices Wi-Fi is turned on. Then try connecting to your network.
Restart your 5LINX Velocity V2
It's possible there's a minor software problem preventing the Wi-Fi module from working properly. Hold the power button and power down your device, leave it off for about one minute, then power it back on. If you're able to connect to a network, this was probably the case.
Restart your Router
Your router may not be sending a clean enough, or strong enough, signal for some reason. It doesn't hurt to restart it just to be certain. Go ahead and restart your router according to the manufacturer's instructions, and after it fully comes back online try reconnecting your device.
Wi-Fi Antenna is Damaged

Wi-Fi Module is Non-Functional
After checking your settings, restarting the device, restarting your router, and either replacing your antenna or checking it for damage, if a network connection cannot be established, then the Wi-Fi chip on your motherboard may be damaged in some way. You'll need to replace the motherboard to remedy this. Doing so requires the removal of a few screws and the screen, and then desoldering all of the wires from the motherboard. Sounds recorded from your microphone are extremely noisy, or too quiet, or segments of audio are missing.
Microphone Opening is Dirty
On your 5LINX Velocity V2 tablet to the right of your headphone jack you will see your microphone's opening. If this is clogged with some material, then you should try to clean it out. Using a pick to pluck out the material would work well. Use a very small amount of rubbing alcohol and a cotton swab to help remove any stubborn dirt.
Damaged Speaker
If you're listening to recorded audio through the tablet's speaker and the audio quality is lacking, it might be the speaker. Test some audio from a source that wasn't the microphone. Then try testing the recorded sounds through the headphone jack or another device if possible. If the tablet's speaker is the only problematic source then replacing the speaker is easily achieved by desoldering two wires and soldering on a new speaker in its place.
