Sadly there's nothing you can do about this. They probably f up while removing the board and won't admit it. Dishonest shops are everywhere. You could open your ps3 and look around the fan connector. If it's badly burnt bring it back and show them
Hello Killian, Plug your phone into a PC, is it being recognized? If so, did you disconnect the battery first? If you didn't there's a chance one of the filters is gone. Take a strong flashlight and shine at the screen, does anything show up? It's usually the case of backlight not working. If you disconnected the battery first have a look around the screen connectors, you might've knocked off one of the microscopic components off. Next have a look around battery and charger ports for any pry damage. It's also possible you didn't connect the battery / charge port properly.
Hello there, If the iPad was charging before it’s unlikely a Tristar or charge port related issue. Open the iPad again and disconnect the battery. There are plenty of very small components, microscopic components you could’ve knocked out around the charge / battery connectors. Have a look around those connectors for any missing components
Hello Tommy, The volume button flex has 2 connectors; one clips into place while the other is soldered onto the charging pad. If you can’t find any videos it usually means it’s easier to replace to whole assembly (volume flex + charging coil). With that said if you Really really want to have a go at it I’d recommend looking at iPad Mini 1 Charging port replacement. It’s basically the same idea. You shouldn’t need hot air station since there are 3 pads close to each other, soldering station should do. Hugh Jeffreys has a nice video: (timestamp: 3;20) https://youtu.be/-wwoC7UMO-c?t=200
Hello Virgilio, I assume you mean the little ‘flap‘ you use to secure the connector in place. It’s there to put pressure onto the ribbon cable to make sure it’s making a good contact. If you have still have the “gray ribbon connector lock“ intact, it can indeed be placed back, however, I would not recommend doing this without a microscope else you’re risking damaging the connector even more. Now, it’s not necessary to have the ‘flap‘ there. You could instead use a small piece of thin plastic sheet and stick in under the ribbon (in between the ribbon and the connector) to put pressure onto said ribbon. Once in place and verify if it’s working and put some glue over the connector to secure it in place. There’s plenty of tutorials on how to do this on YouTube
Hello Dominic, Sometimes, there happens to be static involved when installing new screens. Take your phone apart, disconnect the battery, screen and install it back again. This usually fixes the static issue. As to your darker pin issue, it’s hard to tell if it would cause an issue without seeing a picture first.
Hey Katie, Did you see the console working before you bought it? If not there’s a small chance this was simply a scam. If you bought it from eBay or such first thing i’d do is contact the seller and ask for refund because it could’ve been damaged during shipping. If the seller is not responding I’d contact PayPay. Let’s suppose you can’t get your refund or replacement. Updating the console does not effect your drive, even if it did, it wouldn’t disable the drive completely. Take the console apart and see if all cables are connected properly, one or two might come loose duding shipping. I’d check that first. Next, there’s a drive fuse inside which sometimes goes bad. You can google it to see the location.
Hello Ariel, Replacing a screen or a motherboard will cause your True Tone to go away since both the logic board and screen for iPhone 8 and above are married together. Now I believe there are 2 types of JC programmer out there. One will read the ID off your old screen and transfer it to your new screen. The other one does not require the old screen to be present but requires a special screen (not 100% sure about that). Either way both cost a good bit of money, it might be easier to find reputable independent repair shop and ask them if you could use their JC programmer.
