I chose to not remove the front panel and used the box and rubber band method without any issues. There is no need to put any stress on any part of this replacement. The only issue I had was attaching the antenna cable connector, you need to push down a bit to connect it.

You guys are fantastic, Just received my earpiece part for my iPhone 6 and with your great instructions and tools I was able to replace the part in about 50 minutes and that was being very careful of pacing the screws in exact order and configuration as they came out. Phone works great again. Thanks again and again.
