People replacing this iPod screen need to pay attention to how the longer of the two screen connector cables are folded when re-attaching the new screen to the iPod. If it is only folded once, it gets under the light deflector and makes the screen seem too thick to seat properly. If it's folded back on itself twice to stay up behind the header area of the iPod, the replacement screen will fit fine.
