Just reading the User Guide, this camera is capable of taking special 3D images, of two separate (left and right ) images, and saving the file as .MPO file type. The fact that you can see the images with the data recovery program on your computer is encouraging. IF by chance you are accidentally taking 3D pictures, you will not see them on your computer without a special provisioned 3D compatible monitor; It is certainly possible your computers photo management application may not be compatible with the image file type the camera is taking. Do you know for certain the images are being saved as .jpg files? What type of computer (Windows?, iMac ? Ubuntu?..._) are you using?
