Sounds like it could be a power draw issue. In Settings > Battery > Battery Health is your device running in peak performance? If not, is your maximum battery capacity in the 80s? I would imagine having to render the zoomed in photo and power a 11 Pro Max display would take a lot of power. If it’s low try replacing the battery and seeing if it improves. If not has the phone been disassembled? I’ve seen 11s take display IC damage during repair. That’s all I could imagine could be causing it, good luck!
crwdns2916904:0crwdne2916904:0Hey man, I have some ideas so I don't want to say you're completely SOL, but the use of heat could be bad if the motherboard was cooked while getting that back glass off, or while the coil was ripped out. Most shops if they repair the back glass with a modular part rather than a rear system usually use a laser to minimize the amount of heat that has to be used on the phone. That being said, if there is no motherboard damage I would start with the battery. My guess is that there is a power issue right now and that's what I'm hoping for since that's easier than motherboard damage. Inspect the connectors and check that the battery is seated properly. In the event that there is motherboard damage, which I would say is likely but hopefully not, I would take it to a microsoldering lab. If you have the equipment, you could take readings on the board or use a resin pen to try to find the fault that is likely drawing all the power from the phone (since it is attempting to boot); But in my experience chasing a fault...
crwdns2916904:0crwdne2916904:0I had a similar issue with a phone that had a broken screen. After replacement touch would stop responding after around 2 minutes and the only way to fix it was with a hard reset. Even at my shop we did have something like this happen once or twice with customer phones, but replacing the faulty screen fixed the issue. I wouldn’t want to immediately place blame on the shop you went to, but the fact that they didn’t really wait and check for touch after you come back is somewhat of a shame. I’d ask for your money back and try elsewhere, because if it really is just a faulty screen I’d question where they are sourcing their parts from after getting possibly two faulty screens in a row. There is the chance you were just luckily unlucky and have a phone with a touch IC issue, but I wouldn’t think that it would be so intermittent and would likely just fail from the jump. Good luck!

For starters if you’re handy with a tool kit I’d try disconnecting the proximity sensor / front camera and seeing if the phone will allow itself to boot. You can also try to connect a strong power supply to rule out of the phone is just not receiving enough power from the battery. If that is still not working you can try restoring through DFU mode to rule out software. https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201263 If these two things don’t work it is likely an issue with the motherboard itself and frankly is not worth fixing on a 6 unless you have data you need to recover. crwdns2916904:0crwdne2916904:0I had a similar issue with an LCD replacement on an OLED phone, except mine was that touch would stop working after standby and similar to you, only a restart would alleviate this issue. I had a second screen on me and after some troubleshooting I just swapped the screen and it was good. Since you already troubleshooted software, I’d say that it’s just the hardware and you should try a new screen. Good luck!

Their customer support is great and the screens are beyond high quality. That being said, it is not the cheapest supplier out there. I am enrolled in the wholesale program from FixEz.com, and boy do they beat the competition (even better than my corporate pricing from Batteries Plus Bulbs where I work). They offer a ton of different qualities, and that being said you get what you pay for. I would definitely not go for the lowest quality one, but I would try ordering a mid-range one and seeing how you like it. I hope this helps! Justin

I had a similar issue at my shop in which digis were going dead for seemingly no reason, it turned out that the frame of the iPad was bent just enough to hurt the digi after a couple weeks of use. Left us with a reasonably unhappy customer, but after correcting the bend we haven’t seen them since. Definitely check the frame for bends and try correcting that.
crwdns2916904:0crwdne2916904:0It could be a dead backlight. Can you hear the volume on the tv? Try turning it on and put a flashlight next to the screen, can you see any picture?
crwdns2916904:0crwdne2916904:0As someone commented, try reconnecting the screen to ensure that they were properly connected. If this still doesn’t work, it is likely that you damaged the digitizer or digitizer cable when performing this repair. A new screen would correct this. crwdns2916904:0crwdne2916904:0To my knowledge, Apple Pay works solely through the NFC antenna, so that is what I would suspect is causing this issue. Perhaps during the repair the antenna was only slightly damaged, allowing for wireless charging to still work but breaking the NFC capabilities? That would be my only guess. If you want to replace it its reasonable cheap online. Otherwise I do know that Apple stores card data in the Secure Element on the phone, and if that is causing the issue that’s a microsolder repair which is way beyond my expertise, but personally I would take a shot at replacing the antenna.
