Individual LEDs under each key cap are gone. Guess it can’t all be wins, I did like how much more precise the light was without bleeding out around it. Does the new one have more light bleed then?

Waiting on objective measures of the sound quality. Given how much they improved Macbook speakers, even the 12" beating many larger laptops, hopefully these didn't miss that love.

The guide is wrong in saying the GPU is segregated in the old model and right beside the processor in the new one, that's not the GPU. The GPU is part of the CPU die, that's why it's long like that. I think the segregated chip in the old one and the adjacent chip in the new one is the Platform Controller.

And they even said so in the older guide, just the new one is wrong.

The video RAM isn't just 10mb, lmao. The system RAM is shared with the GPU, so theoretically if the system didn't need any RAM the video card could access all 512mb. The 10MB is an embedded DRAM module that allows AA filtering without a performance hit.
