There is some for lack of a better word "stuff" on my iPad's battery. I am just replacing the screen but would like to...

The LCD is broken. You can attempt your own repair if you wish. You can likely find cheap parts on Amazon by searching "(Model) Full Assembly Replacement" and checking the Price : Low to High option.
crwdns2916904:0crwdne2916904:0The belts in the old optical electronics perish over time. Just get a new IDE DVD drive off of Amazon or something if you really care enough about that system to buy a new drive.
crwdns2916904:0crwdne2916904:0You will ruin your Surface trying to open it. Often Microsoft will rma devices with non user errors even if their slightly out of warranty.
crwdns2916904:0crwdne2916904:0Reposted from Comments for visibility. "Hi, Have you inserted the SIM card correctly? If so, have you tried your SIM in another network compatible mobile phone and see if it works? Have you tried another known working network compatible SIM card in your phone and see if it works?" ---------------------------------------------------------- My Thoughts: Your phone may be network locked perso locked or banned from the carrier your attempting to use. Call your carrier to check your IMEI. Also, You may want to try gently wiping down the sim card with alcohol. (Do not put it into the phone until it is dry. You have been warned.)
crwdns2916904:0crwdne2916904:0Replace the Digitizer. If you're still getting a picture then the problem lies within the Digitizer. I would recommend that you purchase the glass and digitizer already put together as its hard as a motherfu**er to adhere them.
crwdns2916904:0crwdne2916904:0I can't exactly tell you why. Sometimes 2 programs start crashing one another on android. Just do a factory reset and you should be fine. If you're complaining about losing data you can back up with this app. https://play.google.com/store/apps/detai... It will give you 100 GB of space to back everything up as you reset. If the factory reset doesn't help you may have a corrupt file from some type of update which is a whole other mess.
crwdns2916904:0crwdne2916904:0Are you talking about the filesystem scan? If you are than your hard drive is probably broken. You can use any laptop hard drive as a replacement and there is a tool on sony's website to install the system files to your drive via a Universal Drive Adapter You can find laptop hard drives anywhere here is a link to an amazon page. You can find an assortment of drives and chose what fits your needs as far as storage space. http://amzn.to/2cK5z1t
crwdns2916904:0crwdne2916904:0Chances are you broke the lamp or water damaged some part of the device. As for the fact that the phone is so cheap, I would suggest simply replacing it.
crwdns2916904:0crwdne2916904:0Ok Robert, I have a couple solutions for you that may or may not work. 1. Try using Ethernet to connect to the router. If you achieve your normal speed using ethernet then you are most likely having a range problem. 2. Try manually forgetting the network from your computer. In your screenshot, it looks as if there is some type of error in the way your computer attempts to access the router. Forgetting the network and connecting again will force your computer to download those "settings" again. 3. Try running your computer directly into the modem (unplug the ethernet cable running into your router and connect your PC directly.) and see if you are achieving the speed you desire. If number 1 and 2 don't work and this does, You will need to purchase a new router. 4. Try using another device for the steps listed above. (If possible, use a friends PC to test it as the device has never connected to the network before.) If using another device fixes the problem you might be able to fix the problem by factory...
crwdns2916904:0crwdne2916904:0Hello, This link contains some of the upgrade options available for you : http://www.crucial.com/usa/en/compatible-upgrade-for/ASUS/k501ux This video will show you how to perform the upgrade. Be careful when your system is open and exposed. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y71mgaM3... (I am not responsible for any of the external links contained in this post. I have reviewed the links provided to the best of my knowledge and determined they are appropriate to this post.) Update: In reply to your comment: I suggest that you bring it to some locale place if you are that perplexed by this. Most newer laptops have something on the bottom that will open similar to the cited video. Look at the bottom of your laptop and see if there is any cutout area with small screws. If there is open it, if you see a hard drive then you can just slide it out and follow a similar procedure to the video, however, I would not suggest tearing apart your system as they are so easy to break these days. Short answer, If you can't...
