Nothing Headphone (1) Repair

The Nothing Headphone (1) are wireless over-ear closed-back ANC headphones. The Headphone (1) was announced at SXSW London 2025 alongside the Nothing Phone (3) in June, with the headphone's release on July 1, 2025. The Headphone (1) is Nothing's first headphone, and is the predecessor to the Headphone (a).

The Headphone (1) has a distinctive retro-minimalist design, with an aluminum finish, tactile buttons and switches, and transparent plastic ear cups revealing the faux insides. The headphones are designed to be ergonomic and comfortable and use PU cushions.

The Headphone (1) uses 40 mm drivers with nickel-plated diaphragms, and has a frequency response of 20 Hz to 40 kHz. The headphones' tuning is done in partnership with KEF, a British audio manufacturer, and it has a dark sound signature, with a clear emphasized bass, reduced mid-range and treble, and great spatial audio. The headphones connect via Bluetooth 5.3, and can also be driven via USB-C and 3.5 mm line-in. Supported codecs include LDAC, with 96 kHz precision.

The headphones has ANC and transparency mode. The Headphone (1) has four microphones, with AI-powered voice isolation. The headphones have a companion app, with multiple features, including custom 8-band EQ. The headphones last from 30 hours with ANC enabled using LDAC, up to 80 hours without ANC using the AAC codec.
