Background
The Logitech Harmony 300 is a universal remote controller manufactured by Logitech. It was released in April 2010.
Though it was marketed as a low-end and affordable universal remote control, the Harmony 300 can program 4 different devices by using the MyHarmony application, downloadable online. Other features include the ability to program up to 5 different channels and program one activity to start two devices at once.
The Logitech Harmony 300 has since been discontinued but has been followed by the Logitech Harmony 350 (May 2014) which can control up to 8 different devices, but it has an almost identical button layout to the Harmony 300.
Identification
There are two versions of this remote. You can distinguish between them by the finish of the controller. Although both are black, the Harmony 300 has a matte finish, while the Harmony 300i has a glossy finish. You can also identify the remote by the name and model number printed in white on the bottom front of the case.
