    • Insert an opening pick to the right of the Micro USB port, and slide it around the whole frame. Be careful with the top right and bottom left corners, as to not snap off the pins.

    • To take out the motherboard, pry up on the battery. It's securely glued in place and the least fragile component.

    • When removing the motherboard, make sure the screen is facing downward. The DPAD and A/B buttons are not secured to the front in any way, and will fall out if they have nothing supporting them.

    • To assemble the Thumby, you will need glue, unless you don't mind it barely holding together.
