This is the device we will be tearing down.
-
-
-
First, you need to remove the three black screws on the back.
-
-
-
Now, you need to remove the cover by lifting it up like you would the cover of a shoe box, but it will come off. But before you do that you will need to unhook it by unclipping the clips on the back.
-
-
-
-
You must now remove the silver bar attached to the VHS receptor.
-
-
-
Once you have removed that silver bar you will now unscrew and remove the DVD Disc tray.
-
-
-
Now that the DVD tray is out of the way, you can remove the smaller motherboard, the green one to specify easier. You will do this by removing the screws that hold it in.
-
-
-
Now you can unscrew the VHS receptor and remove that to be able to access, unscrew and remove the final piece, the large motherboard.
-
-
-
Now, you will remove the large, orange motherboard. You will need to unscrew it and pop it out. You MUST be careful as this piece is extremely fragile, and the smallest fracture or damage will cause it to no longer work.
