On the side where you can enter the gameboy cartridges remove the 4 screws ( These are Y screw, you can use a Y 2.0 or 2.3 head). The top cover should come of after.

Pull back the 2 small plastic levers carefully. After you can eject the ribbon cable and remove the board.

After the board is removed you can access the bracket that holds down the connector attached to the ribbon cable. You can remove this by unscrewing the screw on the bracket using a PH0 head

On the removed top cover from step 1 remove the 2 screw as shown with a PH0 head.

I opened my for the sole purpose of cleaning the contacts only so I never unscrewed the metal plating. The listed screws here were incorrect for me.
For the Tri screws, I used Y0
For the Philips screws, I used PH1.
I nearly striped the Philips screw with the PH00 as stated here.
Oh, that's sad to hear you nearly striped.
The listed screws in the article are the one founf by me when unpacking. as well as using the ph00 head.
This is an EUR pack, not sure if yours is too, maybe there are differences in different model no's
I think that's the case. Mine's U.S.. Weird that they use different screw types for different regions.
