iPhone battery was only lasting about 30 minutes after having it for over 4 years. Have no real need for new iPhone, but did want to still have an iPhone, so I finally decided to replace the battery.

The repair went pretty smoothly. The iFixit instructions and pictures were good. The battery was a bit harder to remove than I thought it would be. I was a bit worried about bending the sides of the iPhone while trying to pry it out (hair dryer worked).
The instructions for cable 3 could be a little clearer. I didn't realize that it was the side away from the cable that lifted up (especially since mine had the colors reversed, which some do, apparently)

Have a clean, well lit area to do the repair. A second pair of hands with a flashlight can come in handy for reconnecting the LCD assembly.
