The capability of original battery shrunk a lot in the past 3 yrs. When I open the Map app at a low battery level, the phone may shut down suddenly as the voltage is not steady anymore since half year ago.

Easily unscrew the back panel. and replace the battery following the instruction on iFixit ;D

The usage time now can reach 5.5hrs per charge under iOS 7.0.3 under 3G coverage. By using wifi, it'll squeeze more usage time. That's pretty enough for a entire day. It was only 4 hrs with the (old) original battery.

The battery is stick on the steel frame base. it's not easy to 'pull' it out. instead, I use a plastic tool to leverage it out (don't damage the battery itself, may contain dangerous liquid).
