replaced keyboard of an early 2011 Macbook Pro 13"

numbers 1-8 on the keyboard were not working and warranty was expired

repair wasn't very difficult. most annoying/difficult part was removing/inserting the 60-something tiny screws holding the keyboard in. found a guide online (not on ifixit) for a late 2011 13" MBP but process was the same.

do not attempt this repair without the proper tools. you could cause damage to important screws. make sure you know where all the screws go. be very careful with the screws, especially the tiny ones that hold the keyboard in!
