My dock connector got fried because of that strange and deadly thing called WATER. Fortunately, nothing else got damaged.

I was VERY nervous, but the repair went perfect! The instructions are great and in the end, it's actually pretty easy.

REMEMBER exactly how everything goes, there was one small piece that I forgot how it was supposed to be placed, and that really scared the hell out of me.

Also, DON'T try any other repair guide. I got really nervous so I went over to YouTube and searched for another one just to see it done "live" on video. But that just made things more complicated, because it made me take out some extra pieces that weren't necessary.
