My uncle dropped his 3 month old Lumia 520 on the ground and broke the glass. The touch screen broke as well, only the display seemed intact.

Fortunately, I had just received my iFixit Pro Tech Toolkit, so after buying a Nokia 520 glass/digitizer off eBay, and proceeded to give it a new life!

The repair went pretty well. Unfortunately, there was no guide on iFixit for this handset, so I had to use a guide found on Google. It was not very detailed but the Lumia 520 is pretty easy to disassemble, only a few screws and two connectors (one for the display and one for the digitizer).

However, the glass is glued to the Nokia's plastic frame. A little prying was needed to remove the glass, and I tried to keep as much glue on the frame as possible to put back the new glass properly. I put a little neoprene glue on spots where glue was sparse, and put the new glass. It seems to hold pretty well.

I wish I had know the glass was glued to the frame, I would maybe took more appropriate tools to make an even cleaner repair.

I also wish I had some advice on which glue is best for this kind of repair.
