Replaced a cracked / shattered screen

Thanks to the great tutorial online the repair went smoothly once I found the start point that was mentioned. It took a little extra time to release the screen at the top where the glass was shattered. All in all the process is easy and worth the effort.

If the glass is shattered have a vacuum cleaner of some sort handy to suck up the small bits of glass. If you have a vacuum on hand make sure you move the small screws away from the work area or you’ll suck them up like I did. I am glad that I have a bag less vacuum cleaner and was able to recover 2 of the 3 screws that hold the WIFI in place. I would suggest going over the full tutorial before you start, I released the bottom before I was supposed to and am glad that I did not mess up the WIFI card.
