As the title had said it all.. my iPod had been with me for the past 6 years and recently i suspect that the battery life was deteriorating to the point where it warned me with a low battery after listening to a song or two. However, I knew I just took it off from a wall charger. As far as we all know that iPod can possibly last us for hours even if the hold button was not used. Thus, from then on I knew I needed a battery replacement.

For people who are opening the iPod for the first time, it is advisable to be patient with opening the lid. It took me approx. 30 mins to open it as for the first time.
