Slick look, and cheaper than most cases

I got tired of buying overpriced, bulky cases for my iPhone, none of which I was ever really satisfied with. I like the idea of protecting my phone, but not at the cost of adding bulk and taking away from the aesthetics of the device. The transparent rear glass, with an inexpensive bumper protector from Monoprice was the perfect solution for me. The way I see it, if the rear glass every breaks, it's cheap and easy to replace it with another transparent one from iFixit, all while keeping the OEM rear glass in pristine condition tucked away in a drawer, stored for resale purposes.
