MacBook Air 13" Early 2015 Battery Replacement

MacBook Air battery was only lasting a few hours on a full charge.

It went great! I used the opportunity to teach my daughter to not be afraid to repair electronics. She would prefer not to and she tried to get out of repairing her own computer by reminding me I "made" her replace her iPhone battery once already on her own. But I am not one to pass on an opportunity to have some bonding time with my children. There was only one step I probably got her too worried about completing on her own, the disconnecting of the battery connector. In the end, I got two thumbs up from her, a small, and memories. She got her first #IFixedIT stickers, which made her very happy!

Teach those your care about by empowering them to complete repairs on their own. Teach them how to find their device model information, parts, tools, and repair instructions. Make memories repairing together! Within, I encourage you to read the comments for additional support. Not everyone is comfortable making an edit to a step, and some great advice can sometimes be found within the comments.

Some people will be hesitant to repair something for the first time. Even I was. Remember, it takes a minute to learn, but a lifetime to master (Othello reference)
