iPhone was slowed by the Power Manager due to the age of the battery.

The repair went smoothly when replacing the battery in my wife’s iPhone 6. I first replaced the battery in my iPhone 6 Plus to make sure I could follow the directions without bricking the device. I’d rather do that to my own phone than my wife’s but no worries. Took me 45 minutes on my phone because I didn’t heed the advice on removing the tape under the battery and had to use a plastic card to remove the battery. No such problem on my wife’s repair. 20 minutes, tops.

When installing the new battery I suggest reattaching the battery connector first then seating the battery down. The cable is not very pliable and benifits from proper battery placement.
