Knackered MacBook screen

A broken MacBook screen. Lots of horizontal white lines made viewing it like looking through a blizzard. At first I was resigned to buying a new computer as this one was out of warranty, but when I realized how Simple it would be to fix PLUS I could get all the parts and tools I needed from iFixit, I thought it would be a much better option. Saved me a couple of thousand bucks too!

The fix was effortless. Couple of ribbon cables, couple of screws, replace the entire display assembly and hey presto!

The instructions were spot on and easy to follow. Took me about 10 minutes from start to finish. The most surprising thing for me was how quickly the screen arrived - US to New Zealand in just 3 days! Usually takes mail longer to get from Auckland to Wellington!

The experience was pretty near perfect. Couldn't be improved upon in my opinion.
