One of my customers had a locked iMac that a previous employees left without saying a word and without leaving the password. He was the only user in the computer and they wanted to reuse the computer without retrieving the data, so we offered them an SSD drive.

It went well, the only problem we got was removing the screen connectors from the motherboard. The space between the screen and the shell of the computer wasn't wide enough for our hands to fit and remove the connectors. The Spudger helped a lot, but it still took us a while to remove the connectors.

Make sure to work with someone else that can help you hold the screen, the original bottom glue was a bit hard to remove, so we needed a pair of hands to help us hold the screen while removing the glue.
